Much better to use then the game controller

While using the game controller as a remote isnt exactly rocket science, it just doesent have the same feel as an actual remote. The only con (and a small one at that) is because the remote is Bluetooth powered, pressing any button will automatically activate the PS3. I listed it as a con because some folks like myself have their remotes layed out right next to them. One could accidently turn on the PS3 without even knowing it. its still a great buy!

If you want to sit on your couch and use your PS3 to watch movies, you'll really want to have a remote control. This fits the bill. If you are like me, always needing to pause movies for popcorn, etc., then this accessory makes movie watching a lot less awkward.
Great Accessory

This is definitely a great add-on the PS3; it enables me to access the DVD and Blu-ray menus and functions more quickly. The best feature is that since it is Bluetooth, pairing was a breeze and there is no need to point directly at the PS3, I wish Sony had added a light indicator to indicate when a key has been pressed.
