A decent attempt.
Rating: 2
As always, when a newer version of a product is released, the finished product falls short of the initial potential. Some things have been corrected and improved. This is an upgraded item with the same price tag as the last version, and it has some decent advancements. The issue here is the fact this was made less sturdy than the previous version, and suffers from very poor craftsmanship. If you have an older version, it may not be worth the cost to play on the TV. The Nintendo DS Lite just went through a similar issue with their latest system. This is what occurs when companys attempt to maximize profits while minimizing cost and overhead without a good balance. And I had a good laugh when someone compared the battery life of this one to the old one; the same game on both runs the battery down within a minute of each other, the oldest version barely outlasting this "improved" version. Better luck next time.
GREAT SYSTEM
Rating: 5
The system Itself it`s O.K., looks great, sounds great, feel's cheap, but overall, the PSP it`s a cool gadget, plus the game, the umd movie and the memory, all you need, for spend the time.
The Sony PSP 2000 elevates portable gaming to the next level
Rating: 5
The PSP 2000 is a little more expensive than the Nintendo DS but its game console capability is only the begining. The Sony PSP is a slick portable gaming system highlighted by an impressive wide-screen display and PS2-like graphics. It also boasts built-in Wi-Fi, a Web browser, and the ability to play music and videos, as well as to store images.
This new version appart from being 30% slimer than the original loads games much faster. Another plus is the great variety of games available for any age.
