I stopped playing after a week or so. My 9 year old son hates this game too. When I start the game up, I go to a sceen informing me not to turn off the system when it's writing to the hard drive, like every other game. For some reason, with this game I can get stuck on this screen for over a minute. I press X and nothing happens. I'm not a huge fan of role playing games. Every few years I buy a game with a good review and then after playing I remember why I don't like games like this. It's because you do a lot of moving around and not much else. A Masterpiece Rating: 5 This is probably the best RPG I have played and maybe will ever play. Even without the expansion packs, it is incredible. It blows my mind to think of all the possibilities of this game. The fun almost never ends. I played with my first character for about 70+ hours combined and I am still not close to finishing. I even created a new character that I am taking in a different path. I still switch playing between the two of them. Even if you might think the missions are boring, it is always fun to just explore the expansive world that this game has. I would also highly recommend investing in the full strategy guide. It reveals so many fun and exciting secrets to go explore when you aren't sure what to do. The gameplay is brilliant and it is pretty easy to control everything once you get the hang of it. For the price it is now, this game is a must buy. EXCELLENT!!! Rating: 5 I just CAN'T get enough of this game!!! I'ts very fun. A MUST HAVE for PS3 owners.
