I recently purchased this item to handle our widescreen tv, comcast Motorola dvr, recever and DVD player. Once getting trough a glitch associated with my lenovo laptop, setup was very easy. It completely replicates the function of the other components' remotes so now I only use 1 remote. I am in heaven!
Finally a universal remote that is truly universal.

I have a home theater system that like everyone else has too many remotes. My wife will not even try to use it. I was allways frustrated because I had to use a minimum of two remotes and sometimes four.
I am now in home theater heaven. I use one remote and it is easy to use. The Harmony One is the answer to my dreams of a universal remote that works.
Setup was pretty straght forward. The hardest thing was knowing the different settings for my components, ie:AV1,AV2,HD1 etc. I thought I had it set up right and still had a minor glitch. I called tech support and the person who answered fixed the problem remotely.
This is my first review of any product. I was empressed enough to want to make sure this product got the praise it deserves!

While you can buy a universal remote for a lot less, you'll have no frustration with the Harmony One. I followed the simple instructions, entering the make and model of my cable-TV DVR, HDTV, Receiver, CD Player and HD DVD player. All the features of the five remotes were programmed into the Harmony One by Logitech's online database.
I don't know how it could be easier to program and use a universal remote. It's worth the price. Good show, Logitech!
